The kids and I have just returned from an absolutely incredible three weeks of travelling around Borneo. We encountered all beaches, jungles and rivers during our trip and had some amazing experiences from seeing wildlife in its natural habitat to swimming in the warm sea off pristine white, sandy beaches, Borneo has it all!
Throughout the trip I am pleased to report that the kids were very happy to have their Sunday Afternoons Clear Creek Boonie hats glued to their heads. The hats offer UPF50+ sun protection and the wide brim ensures that necks and faces are protected from the sun. In addition to the excellent sun protection offered by our Sunday Afternoon hats we loved how lightweight they were, the kids hardly realised that they were wearing them and they really helped to keep them cool in the very hot weather. The chin strap also ensured that the hats stayed put, especially important on the boat trips when they could have flown off their heads and ended up in the river, this coupled with the fact that they are adjustable ensured that the hats fitted perfectly and stayed where they were meant to be. One last feature to get a mention is how small they can be scrunched down when not in use. The hats could easily be shoved in a rucksack pocket and still come out looking good and ready for action! Now that we are home and back to reality all that remains is to plan out next adventure! Any suggestions where next very welcome....... |
