What does a UPF 50+ sun protection rating mean?
When clothing is rated UPF 50+, it means only 2% or less of the sun’s UVA and UVB rays are able to pass through the fabric. It’s the highest UPF rating available, so you can be sure you’re getting the highest level of protection.
Are UV gloves and sleeves better than wearing sun cream?
UV gloves and sleeves are a more reliable way of protecting yourself from the sun than using SPF sun cream. Getting the full level of sun protection from SPF requires you to apply the right amount of product, which can then easily rub or wash off, impacting your level of sun protection.
