What does UPF 50+ sun protection mean?
When a material is rated UPF 50+, it means only 1/50th or less of the sun's UV rays are able to pass through the fabric. It's the maximum sun protection rating that a material can recieve.
Can I fold my wide brim sun hat?
Some of our wide brim hats can be folded or crushed for easy packing, but others shouldn't be folded in order to hold their shape. Check the product description for details of how to care for your prefered style.
Do you have wide brimmed hats for the colder months?
Yes! A small selection of our wide brim hats are made from warmer materials such as felt, making them ideal for the cooler months. As always, these materials are still rated UPF 50+ for maximum sun protection.
